This weeks message really focused on giving and receiving a second chance. Many people struggle with their past and wrestle with regret. The reality is that we need to focus on what is in front of us. Forgive and move on. However...we should never live with abuse as a sign of forgiveness.

ReplyDeleteI am really saddened for the loss of Rick Warren's son. Depression grips so many and is real. I pray that God will help us uncover the answer...

Congrats on your second place win! I am sure it is an honor. Regarding second chances, what if it's YOU that needs the second chance? How do you move on?
ReplyDeleteThe power of the second chance is know where you are. You realize that there is something in your life that has to change and is broken. We deceive ourselves into thinking that it will fix itself or go away. The second chance means we start anew and don't look back or beat ourselves up.
ReplyDeleteThis life is all about new beginnings. We spend so much time trying to fix a broken past. What we need is the courage to overcome resistance and start new. Brush ourselves off, rinse our bruises and scrapes. Adjust our glasses and Move Forward. It is not easy, but it is real and it works every time. "Andy Andrews", and the Seven Decisions.
